To avoid confusion for those who are learning about the Ghibli Park purchase process for the first time, we will try to avoid giving examples of the old ticket purchase process whenever possible, but please be advised that in some cases we may provide a comparison.

Previously, International Tickets only had an entrance time after 12:00 p.m., so this is much more convenient.

This has not changed since the old days, but the park is basically closed every Tuesday. This is a good point to remember on your travel plans.

Tickets for Ghibli Park have two ranks
If you have checked the official Ghibli Park website to find out how to purchase tickets, you already know that there are two types of International Tickets.
As you may already know, there are two types of International Tickets, and although they are called “Rank” in the title, it seems a little different and correct.
The reason why I want to do so may be because of the word “premium” ^^; Please consider them as two types of tickets with a price difference.
The ticket that allows you to enter all 5 areas is the “Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass”, and the ticket that allows you to enter the facilities described below is the “Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass The “Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium” is a ticket that allows admission to the facilities described below.
The following is a list of areas that can be entered with either of the two types of tickets before describing the outline of each.

Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse
“Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse” is an indoor facility filled with exhibits of Ghibli’s works.

Mononoke Village
Mononoke Village is an area that embodies the world of Princess Mononoke.
The area is well known for the Otsukotonushi slide and the Tarigami object, but it is also an outdoor area with hands-on learning facilities.
Valley of Witches
This area is based on the theme of “witches” that appear in many of Studio Ghibli’s works.
The motif of the area is based on modern European culture, including “The Witch’s Delivery Service” and “Howl’s Moving Castle.
As introduced on this website, “Howl’s Castle (not moving)” will be the main facility, and a dining facility will also be set up.
“Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass” allows access to all areas
First, we would like to introduce the “Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass” ticket.
This ticket allows admission to all of the areas introduced above.
However, it does not allow entry to some of the facilities described in “Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium” below.
Specifically, “Howl’s Castle” in the “Valley of the Witches” and “Satsuki and May’s House” in the “Dondoko Forest”.
“Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium” ticket to all facilities
The “Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium” is the same as the “Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass” and allows admission to all areas of Ghibli Park. The “Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium” allows you to enter all areas of Ghibli Park.
The following is a list of facilities that can be entered with the “Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium”.
Only with this ticket, you can enter the following facilities, so I guess it is called “Premium”.

This may cause the “Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium” to be more popular, but the “Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass” does not meet the requirements to enter all areas of Ghibli Park. However, the “Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass” does not satisfy the requirement to enter all areas of Ghibli Park.
However, the “Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass” is not required to enter all areas of Ghibli Park, except for the food and beverage facilities and the pay-per-view play facilities that will be set up in the “Valley of the Witches.
The “Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium” is literally a premium! But realistically speaking, can you enter the park first thing in the morning and enjoy the whole area by 5 pm?
