To celebrate the opening of the new “Valley of Witches” area in Ghibli Park (in Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park/Moricoro Park), a new commercial “Ghibli Park, Come Slowly. The moving castle version” has been released.

Goro Miyazaki, the producer of Ghibli Park, has released a promotional video for the opening.

In this article, we will shortly introduce Hayao Miyazaki’s “latest work”.

” Come slowly, please | Moving Castle” is a 15-second promotional video

The length of the commercial is 15 seconds. It is a standard length for a Japanese commerical video, and is intended to be aired on TV.

The title is “Come slowly, please | Moving Castle”.

It depicts a castle similar to “Howl’s Castle” blowing fire, making noises, and walking through a mysterious world where stars shine.

The staff of “Howl’s Moving Castle” participated in the production of “Howl’s Moving Castle”.

The animation was directed and drawn by Akihiko Yamashita, an animator at Studio Ghibli.

He was the animation director for “Howl’s Moving Castle” and was also the main staff member for “The Boy and the Heron”.

Noboru Yoshida has joined Studio Ghibli as an art director. Noboru Yoshida has been with Studio Ghibli since “Princess Mononoke”.

Although he is not well known in English, he is responsible for a large part of the art in Studio Ghibli’s recent works.

He also participated in “The Boy and the Heron” and was the art director for “Howl’s Moving Castle.

” Come slowly, please | Moving Castle” is available on YouTube

Is the video “Come slowly, please | Moving Castle” only available in Japan? This is not the case.

You can also watch it on YouTube. Please click the link below.

And the message from Ghibli Park based on ” Howl’s Moving Castle”

We could not find the English video, so I could only introduce the Japanese one.

Since three narrations are included, I will introduce the meaning of each one.

Japanese Narration English
“Ghibli Park wa yoyakusei” Ghibli Park is by appointment only.
“Tickets wa mainichi tohka hatsubai” Tickets go on sale every day on the 10th.
“Yukkuri kitekudasai” Please come slowly.

The first line of dialogue, “Ghibli Park is by appointment only,” matches the Japanese characters that appear after about 7 seconds.

It’s nothing when translated into English, but I thought I’d post it in the hope that it would clear up some of the confusion.

This article is rather short, but it gives you a glimpse of the newly opened “Valley of Witches” area.

We are looking forward to Ghibli Park starting in March…. But I haven’t gotten my ticket yet (T_T)Y
