Tickets for “Ghibli Park” for November go on sale August 10

In November 2022, Ghibli Park will open at Expo 2005 Aichi Prefecture Nagakute City.

Tickets for November, the opening month of the park, will be on sale from August 10 (Wed.).

Ghibli Park requires advance reservations by date and time. Tickets must be purchased for each area of the first phase of the park opening, “Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse,” “Seishun no Oka,” and “Dondoko Mori,” and there are no set tickets available.

Due to the possibility of a large number of applications in November, the first month of the park’s opening, an advance lottery sale will be held.

Applications will be accepted from Wednesday, August 10 to Monday, August 22. Purchasers will be selected by lottery, and the results will be notified to all applicants by e-mail on September 2 (Fri.).

Applications will be accepted through the online ticket sales service “Boo-Woo Ticket” (Boo-Woo Ticket), up to one ticket per person per area per month of use (for a maximum of six people).

On Saturday, September 10, general ticket sales for November (first-come, first-served) will begin.

In addition to Boo-Woo tickets, tickets can also be purchased at Loppi terminals installed in Lawson and Mini Stop stores.

1 Ticket sales schedule

Advance ticket sales for November will be conducted by lottery starting on August 10 (Wed.) according to the schedule below.

General sales on a first-come, first-served basis will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 10.

#1 Inquiries regarding lottery results will not be published.
#2 Information on ticket sales for December and thereafter will be announced on the official Ghibli Park website in due course.

2　How to apply

Please apply for tickets by specifying the date, time and area of your choice through the online ticketing service “Boo-Woo Tickets” (Boo-Woo Ticket).

#1 Applications by phone or postcard are not accepted.
#2 Each person is limited to one application per area per month (for a maximum of 6 people). Children under 3 years old are not included in the number of applications.
#3 Registration of “Boo-Woo Ticket” membership (free of charge) is required to apply.
#4 A system usage fee of 110 yen per ticket will be charged.
#5 General tickets (first-come, first-served) can be purchased at Loppi terminals installed at Lawson and Mini-Stop convenience stores (both convenience stores) in addition to Boo-Woo Ticket.
#6 The applicant (representative) cannot be changed. Also, the applicant (representative) and his/her companion must enter the venue at the same time (electronic tickets cannot be distributed).
#7 To prevent resale, the identity of the applicant (representative) will be checked at the entrance at random.
Please bring your ID (driver’s license, insurance card, passport, my number card, or student ID).
#8 Once an application has been submitted, changes or cancellations can only be made during the lottery application period. After the lottery application period, no changes or cancellations will be allowed.

3　Ticket price (tax included)

#1 Weekday off refers to weekdays during long school vacation periods such as summer vacation.
#2 Children under 3 years old are free of charge.
#3 Up to one person with a “physical disability certificate” or similar and one accompanying person will be charged half price for each ticket type. Either the original or a copy of the certificate or Milairo ID (digital disability certificate) must be presented at the time of admission.

4　Admission Timeframe

#1 Since the park opens at 10:00 a.m. on Weekday, there is no admission time slot for [a1][a2].
#2 Please enter within the designated admission time slots. There is no changeover system. Re-entry after exiting is not permitted. Please note that the park closes at 5:00 p.m.
#3 It takes about 5 minutes to walk from Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse to Seishun no Oka and about 20 minutes to walk from Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse to Dondoko Mori. If you are applying for more than one area, please consider the travel time along with the viewing time.
#4 It is not possible to enter the venue at a different entrance time slot than that indicated on the ticket. Please note that admission times are subject to change without notice due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control.
#5 Dondoko-Mori ticket holders are allowed to use the back areas of Dondoko-Mori, except for “Satsuki and Mei’s House,” during the opening hours only on the day of the event. However, the closing time of the park may be earlier due to weather or sunset time.

5　Matters that require attention

There is no dedicated parking lot at Ghibli Park. Please use public transportation.
Please refrain from visiting the park if you have symptoms such as fever or cough in order to prevent new strains of coronavirus infection.
Please be aware that due to Aichi Prefecture’s infection control measures and the infection situation at the time, we may ask for your cooperation in taking your temperature, wearing a mask, washing your hands and disinfecting your fingers, and ensuring your social distance. If you do not cooperate, you may be denied entry or asked to leave the venue. Please understand this in advance.
Please be advised that we may have no choice but to suspend operations due to the spread of the new strain of coronavirus or other reasons.
